Celebrating the Achievements of Young People in Dumfries and Galloway

The Dumfries and Galloway Youth Awards recognises the incredible achievements and stories of young people in Dumfries and Galloway through 7 categories and provides a platform to celebrate young people’s achievements, share their experiences and showcase their amazing talents and contribution to the local community.

As well as the main award categories for young people, the awards evening will celebrate adults who work and volunteer in Dumfries and Galloway to improve the lives of young people, and will also recognise those who have dedicated their careers to young people with special ‘Lifetime Achievement Awards’.

This year the annual awards evening will once again take place at Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries on Thursday 20th November

Councillor Tracey Little, Chair Education, Skills and Wellbeing Committee, said “Over the past year, we have witnessed remarkable dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm from young people across our region. They are making significant contributions to enhance the lives of their peers within their local communities and across Dumfries and Galloway. Our Council takes pride in highlighting the extraordinary achievements of our young people”

These remarkable young people are making significant contributions to enhance the lives of their peers within their local communities and across Dumfries and Galloway.
