The Dumfries and Galloway Youth Awards celebrates individuals and groups who work tirelessly to achieve their goals, help in their communities, and make a positive difference to the lives of others.
We want to hear from you so that we can shine a light on the young people and groups who deserve to be recognised for their achievements.
The awards provide a platform to celebrate achievements, share experiences and showcase the amazing talents and contribution of young people in our local communities.
The DG Youth Awards are fully funded by Young Gamechangers Fund.
Who can be nominated:
Anyone can make a nomination, but nominees must live, work or study in Dumfries and Galloway. They must also be between the aged of 11-25 years (excluding Youth Worker of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Awards)
Deadline for Submitting Nominations:
Nominations must be submitted no later than 10pm Thursday 22 October, when the form will close
Next Steps:
The judging panel will take place in October , and up to 3 finalists will be chosen in each category
All finalists and unsuccessful nominations will be notified (If you are unsuccessful, we will not contact nominees, only the nominator)
The awards evening will be held on Thursday 19 November.
